A few weeks ago when i finished my pilot training, my grandfather asked me if i would like to go to Duxford to watch the air show with him. An invitation that i could not turn down. I would get to spend a day with  him and watch an airshow. The drive to Duxford from London was easy. When i got there, Peter (my grandad) had already set up a good pitch in front of the American hanger with picnic seats. a good spot to just chill out and watch the sky. I was very impressed with the turn out and slightly shocked at the level of interest from so many people towards aviation. My only other experience of an air show was Aero Expo early in the year.
