Without a dream you go nowhere
It is the start of Week 2 and today we managed to only fly at 800 ft as clowd level was that low..during the first take off we went into clowds keeping a sharp left eye on where the airfield was. it was decided that we could not do our planned lessons, but luckily for me, i did get to try out fying circuits, ex12 and 13 a. It was just a intro to take off and climmb to a downwind leg. Then conduct a powered approach.
There was a sw wind at 10 mph which made it a tiny bit bumpy and i was expecting to be slightly nervous of trying new things especially landings and combining everything I have been taught thus far with teh thought process needed to be doing circuits. No many people were flying today and that made the whole day easier but still taxing on the brain..
having a brilliant teacher or instructor perhaps makes everything I am learning that much more enjoyable. I am amazed as to how and what can taught by Paul and thankfully i am taking it all in.
i completed the basic intro into circuits and Paul said that he took control at about 2 feet from the final touch down point on the runway.. not bad he said for my 1st attempt..
I am not confident that tomorrow will suitable for flying in which case i have plenty of reading that i will be getting on with at home…
