dsc_0068.jpg In the top left you can see a Flybe taking off.

This morning I left London to head for Norfolk. My good friend Rusty whose family have let me stay in their home whilst i complete 11 hrs of PPl training from Norwich Airport. I am flying with Anglian Air Centre who train disabled pilots in the UK.

dsc_0060.jpg Norfolk is a very flat part of the UK – this part as you drive into it smells like pine.

Anglian Air Centre – My instructor is the flying school’s Chief Flying Instructor Jack Mills.he is a terrific pilot and a great instructor. I have been very worried about flying with people that i am not familiar with. Because i have been flying mostly with the best of the best – i only want the same level of tuition. Jack did say how well i have been trained to date and he was impressed with my flying skills. After our lesson he spoke about getting me solo – maybe this week – if i get my medical flight test out the way.

I spoke with my mum yesterday for 2 hours and felt alot better afterwards about all the work that i still have to do for my ground school. The next exam i would like to do is Aircraft General and Principles of Flight. I met John today who owns his own PA28 Cherokee and is flying to Swiss tomorrow. He told me that he never read the book or did any ground school for aircraft general and still passed the exam. If only i could be a mechanically minded as he is.

I am training on a PA28 Warrior with the vision air – it is half owned by a disabled pilot who uses a wheelchair and was trained by Jack Mills and is now trainig on IMC – i have yet to meet him.
