Before departing from Cranfield for Duxford, we heard that the Red Arrows would be flying overhead Cranfield at exactly 2pm local. The Senior Air Traffic Controller was on duty and he wanted to make sure that inbound traffic to Cranfield be on the ground by 1.30pm. We made it back by 1.20pm. The Red Arrows were flying from doing a show in Poddington to Oxford, for another show.
