For the regular readers of this blog and other student pilots will know that in order to have a Pilots Licence issued in the UK, you will need to pass a medical class 2 for a PPL licence. I was very happy to receive last Saturday my class 2 – JAR-FCL(3) medical certificate from the CAA. It does have limitations and the next stage for me is to have a medical flight test. Once this is completed and the flight test examiner is happy with my ability to fly safely – they will send a message to the CAA asking for that limitation to be taken off and then I can embark on doing my first solo flight..

Student pilots reading this blog will aslo know that 7 exams have to be passed to obtain a NPPL or a PPL. I am going for my PLL. For the last 10 days, i have been very strick on myself and making sure that i know Air law and know it well enough to pass over 75%. There have been days when i have been excited because i felt that i have comprehended various subjects within Air Law and then there have been days when i got very annoyed with myself for getting things wrong and misunderstanding key areas…
Monday to today (i am pausing now to update this blog and motivate myself to keep focus) i have been doing practice exam questions and doing as many excercises as possible from 2 different books and via online pages that contain pactice exams…I am doing ok and my best result has been 85% but for me to feel more comfortable, i wanna be averaging 95% as i hate exams and chances are luck will not be on my side and i will not do as well as i could and want to and thus have to re-sit…wish me luck and i shall of course update this blog with my result even it is is a fail.
