We do have some amazingly talented and gifted friends. Artists, film directors, musicians, doctors, poets, monks, scientists who inspire us. The contrast to meeting Rosa Branson yesterday evening at the House of Lords was linking up with my friend Max Polak whose Mother Edina Ronay is an icon of the British Fashion industry and no doubt has helped to inspire Max in his own artwork. Max has created The Grenade Art Collective. A collection of contemporary global street artists based in london. They focus on the development of experimental art with a diverse range of designers / illustrators / painters/ scultures and collections.
I was talking to one of the artists STIKA and before i left, he came up to me and said that he would like to give me one of his artwork. I was overwhelmed and very happy to have made this connection with him.
Like What Rosa Branson has done for Rotary, I have asked if the Grenade Art team would make a piece of Art for Freedom in the Air which represent the freedom of flight where talent flies – and of disability. Lets see what they come up with. This is my friend Max’s piece AKA Dr Brazil
