The UK Section of the International Fellowship of Flying

Last Wednesday, 30th January 2008, i met with Allan Jagger after he finished his lunch with Mr Bill Gates. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have awarded Rotary International a $100 million dollar challenge grant. Mr Bill Gates is extremely Knowledgeable on polio eradication.I was very glad to meet Allan, we chatted briefly about the work i have been doing in raising awareness for polio eradication with Rotary. I was also given my official invitation to be a speaker at this years RIBI conference in Blackpool during April. It is a great honor to be invited by Allan. Other keynote speakers who will be attending the conference will be Wilf Wilkinson President of Rotary International; Ron Burton, Trustee, The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International; John Osterlund, Manager of the Rotary Foundation. During coffee with Allan, i mentioned my the idea of me flying around Great Britain to raise awareness for Polio eradication and to fundraise for the cause working with The UK Section of the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians.My idea was very well received by the current leader of the fellowship.
